Today we’re thrilled to announce that Autodesk was awarded with a perfect score of 100 on the 2017 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), a national benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ workplace equality, administered by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. This award reflects Autodesk’s commitment to our LGBTQ employees, while also highlighting our inclusive work environment and the strong sense of belonging amongst our employees.

By satisfying all of the CEI’s criteria, we join 517 major U.S. businesses which also earned top marks this year, out of the 1,043 that were rated. We attribute our recognition to a number of factors: having an officially recognized LGBTQ employee group, Autodesk PRIDE, a firm-wide diversity council that includes LGBTQ diversity, our full benefits programs, non-discrimination policies, diversity training, and a gender transition policy. But the most important contributor is the passion and enthusiasm of our employees.

“We’re extremely proud and honored to be recognized as one of the Best Places to Work for LGBTQ equality,” said Danny Guillory, head of global diversity and inclusion. “Autodesk believes that a better world is only achieved when we embrace and celebrate all people, starting with the changemakers we seek to employ at our company. We deeply value and promote diversity and inclusion through a variety of programs, policies, and initiatives, which leads to new ideas, creativity and growth.”

We celebrate today’s achievement with our employees, but we know there’s always more work to do ensure cultural differences are pursued, celebrated and shared; so today we reaffirm our commitment to creating and maintaining an inclusive environment where people can contribute fully, and achieve personal and professional success.
