Quick Tip – Working with Nonnative Data with AnyCAD

Tips & Tricks

Engineers use many types of design software, which can be a problem if you need to modify or use a design that was created in another product. This problem is mitigated inside of Autodesk Inventor through its AnyCAD technology. AnyCAD allows you to work with geometry from other CAD packages as well as reference the original model for any updates or changes that may occur along the way. Ultimately, this tool helps you prevent miscommunication between you, your vendors, your suppliers and anyone else that is part of your design process.  This quick video will give you a better understanding of how AnyCAD works.
