I was tempted to title this post “Make AutoCAD® Great Again” but chose not to for two reasons. One, it would’ve been a shameless rip-off of a current, well-known campaign theme best left in the political sphere. Two, AutoCAD is great right now (duh). But: That’s not to say you can’t make it work even harder for you.

Perhaps the most common way to enhance AutoCAD is via customization—most AutoCAD users fine-tune the software themselves for the kind of work they do, and the way they do it.

Then there’s the Autodesk App Store for AutoCAD. It offers hundreds of downloads, many free, all useful. As of this writing (3.10.16), in just the last 30 days the site recorded 92,970 unique downloads.
