Autodesk University 2015 AutoCAD Recorded Classes—Customization Boot Camps

Autodesk University 2015 classroom. AutoCAD customization bootcamp class.

Last week I started cherry-picking attendees’ favorite Autodesk University 2015 classes, available online, for AutoCAD® and AutoCAD LT users. First, I pointed you to three recorded Autodesk University 2015 AutoCAD pulse quickeners.

This week, we’re going a bit slower and a bit deeper, with a peek into AutoCAD customization.

The software’s extensive customizability is a huge part of its appeal: “Plain vanilla” AutoCAD gets the job done, but most users tailor it for the kind of work they do, or the way they do it. The two AutoCAD customization boot camps, below, were high among AU15’s most popular courses.

Please note: Because they’re hands-on labs, the actual classroom proceedings were not recorded; i.e., there’s no audio or video here. What you’ll find instead are slide decks and other presentation materials.

You should also check out the hundreds of ready-made apps for AutoCAD, many free, on the Autodesk App Store for AutoCAD.

Leslie is fanning the glowing embers of the AutoCAD Blog into a raging (yet carefully managed!) bonfire, bringing light and warmth to AutoCAD customers wherever they're huddled. He has been writing, editing, helping design, and managing the production of high-tech marketing communications—everything from party invitations, web banners, and tweets to annual reports, white papers, and animated videos—for longer than he cares to admit. So don't ask. Leslie is thrilled to be back in the Autodesk saddle after 14 years spent wandering the desolate, non-Autodesk high-tech landscape.
