Gracie Diabo, a QA Intern at Autodesk in Montreal, is an incoming second-year software engineering co-op student at McGill University. She is a proud Kanien’kehá:ka (Mohawk) first nations from Kahnawake Mohawk Territory on the south shore of Montreal and a 2023 Loran Scholar, where both fuel her passion for community involvement and leadership. Aside from doing test automation for Entertainment & Media Solutions products, she actively participates in various activities at Autodesk, including the Lachine canal volunteer cleanup, intern boxing activities, and events with Autodesk Indigenous Network. In addition to her role at Autodesk, she is set to hold an executive position in McGill’s Women in Engineering club, POWE, and is the incoming president of McGill’s AISES chapter, a club for Indigenous students in STEM. Outside of work, Gracie enjoys spending time with her cat Winnie, doing Pilates, going to the gym, and traveling.
Gracie’s Autodesk internship has given her hands-on experience, new skills, and a unique opportunity to make an impact within the company and in her community.
