I\u2019m a Customer Success Journey Manager based in Toronto, Canada. I joined the company in July 2023 and am part of the Customer Insights and Success Experience team. I remember getting an email from a recruiter about the role, and my partner \u2013 who is an interior designer \u2013 jumped at the name Autodesk and told me that I needed to work here. I was working at a bank for two years and wanted a role where I could have an impact on the decisions being taken by the organization. I also wanted to work for a company that was in technology since I had eight prior years of experience working for a tech company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In my current role, I am working on standing up the journey management practice for my team to be able to measure, at any given point in time, the impact of changes being made to customer experiences. My team is divided between experience designers and journey managers, and we meet virtually twice a week to discuss priorities for both. We also got to meet in person at an off-site in Montreal and had a lot of fun getting to know one another. I found it quite unexpected as generally, companies will wait a while before investing so much in bringing teams together. It was quite refreshing to see how Autodesk shows its belief in team building and teamwork by leading from the front.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The best parts about Autodesk, from my time here so far, are the culture and people. Everyone is super helpful and kind, and the workforce is very diverse. I know I work for a company that is at the forefront of anything design-related in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Autodesk offers various opportunities to contribute to a better world. I keep seeing various articles about how the company is involved in more sustainable and green designs to better infrastructures for people impacted by floods across the globe \u2013 I would like to believe I am somehow going to contribute to that.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m also proud to be part of \u00a0Autodesk\u2019s Pro Bono Consulting program<\/a> in addition to my day-to-day role. Pro Bono Consulting is a skilled-based volunteer program where Autodeskers can apply their professional skills with our partner nonprofits and start-ups. We also have a giving and fundraising program where the company will match up to $5,000 of employees\u2019 charitable donations each year. I feel that Autodesk really wants its employees to be the best version of themselves and positively contribute to society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m happy to be working at Autodesk and look forward to the journey ahead. If you\u2019re interested in working here, too, my advice is to not think about it too much. Autodesk is an amazing company to work for. If you\u2019re younger or don\u2019t have many years of experience, a good employer (like Autodesk) will hire you for your personality and willingness to contribute and then facilitate your passions and ambitions by teaching you the things you need for the role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
