January is National Mentoring Month in the United States, and at Autodesk, we celebrate with our \u201cMonth of Mentorship,\u201d a global campaign dedicated to recognizing mentoring and the impact it can have on people\u2019s lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout the month, we post blogs and prompts with the goal of \u201cdemystifying mentorship,\u201d increase engagement and highlight some of our top mentors at Autodesk, as well as share success stories from Autodeskers who have participated in our mentorship program<\/a>. We also host an AMA (\u201cAsk Me Anything\u201d) in our mentorship Slack channel where Autodeskers can ask about mentorship, the platform we use to facilitate our mentorship program, or any other questions they might have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Navigating success together<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We currently have about 4,000 Autodeskers enrolled in our mentorship platform who are either currently in a mentorship connection or ready to be matched! Here\u2019s what a few of them had to say about our mentorship program:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019ve always been a huge fan of mentoring \u2013 I see it as an opportunity to give back! It\u2019s been great mentoring someone new to Autodesk, especially since I recently celebrated my one-year anniversary. My mentee reached out to me as she recently graduated with a degree in Human Resources and is interested in working within Talent Acquisition (TA). \u201cI made a professional connection not based on my own team but based on being in similar roles at different stages of our professional development. \u201cI am the only person on my team who is based in Barcelona, so it was great to connect with people here through the mentorship program. It also inspired me to create our own group mentorship programs. \u201cThroughout my career, I’ve always had a mentor. As a relatively new employee, I was looking for help on how to get acquainted with the company and related industries. My mentor provided suggestions on how to gain exposure and opportunities to connect with other key team members. They also gave guidance on topics such as organization, career goals\/performance, visibility, and project management. Mentorship has allowed me to leverage my mentor’s experience at Autodesk with navigating the company and various teams.
