AU Vegas Class Voting – How It Works

Stephanie Wells
May 15, 2017

Each year our goal is to curate the most insightful, exciting, and above all useful program for every AU attendee—including you. That’s why we’re giving you a chance to weigh in on what you want to learn by voting for this year’s AU class proposals. Here’s everything you need to know.

Who can vote?

Anyone!

When can I vote?

As we receive proposals, we’re publishing them anonymously on the voting page so you can go ahead and start browsing now. Voting opens after the CFP closes on May 17. (Don’t worry, you’ll have all day on May 17 to get those last-minute proposals submitted.)  Community voting will end June 16.

How do I vote?

Once voting opens, you’ll have the option to give a thumbs-up to classes that appeal to your learning goals. (There’s no thumbs-down. If a class isn’t for you, don’t vote for it.) Tip: You can search proposals by product, topic, or focus.

How many times can I vote?

You can vote for as many classes as you like, but you can’t vote for the same class more than once. You can also visit the voting page as many times as you like, giving those thumbs-ups, until voting closes. And if you change your mind about a class, simply uncheck the thumbs-up and your vote will be changed.

What happens to the submissions that receive the most votes?

Voting is a key factor in selecting the classes for AU Las Vegas this year. Your feedback is important to us, and we want to be sure we have our finger on the pulse of the AU community. But in addition to voting, we use a number of other data points to determine final class selection. We consider things like experience, past speaker ratings, and more.

When voting opens, make your voice heard. And help us spread the word to the wider AU community by sharing this post with your colleagues or on your social media channels. After all, we’re all in this together.

Let’s make this year’s AU our richest event yet. Head to the voting page now and start exploring.
