BIM 360 Administration Update – April 2017

Sijie Zhang
April 30, 2017

The latest version of BIM 360 Account Administration includes improvements to user management, BIM 360 API Projects Endpoint, and other enhancements.

Improved User Management

  • Filter by Service/Product: Now you can filter users by product or service to see a list of all users for that service. This filter works in combination with other filters such as user status.
  • Filter by Pending Status: Now you can filter users with pending status to view either active, pending or inactive users. Active and pending users count against user limits. Inactive users do not count against user limits.

Performance Improvements

For customers with large data sets, page loading performance is greatly improved in the Member Directory, Project Directory, and Company Directory.

BIM 360 API Projects Endpoint Enhancements

The BIM 360 Get Project API endpoint published on Forge now provides visibility into which services are activated in a project. The Post Project API endpoint supports activating a new service for a project and adding a project admin through the API.

Localization

Account Administration now includes Chinese as an option in the project language setting to support Chinese language projects in BIM 360 Field.
