BIM 360 Unified Platform – Administration enhancements

As part of our ongoing transition to a unified BIM 360 platform, Account Administration is now more closely aligned with project administration.

Now with the module selector, you can navigate between Document Management (BIM 360 Docs), Project Administration, and Account Administration.

Project Members page

Now project admins can see a full list of their members across BIM 360 services, with the ability to see which BIM 360 services that have access to, their status, and their project roles.

As part of the phased transition to a unified administration module, the Manage button is for project admins to navigate to the BIM 360 service manage page where they can add users to their projects. In a future release, project members will be added directly on this page in unified account/project administration.

Services page

Now the Project Admin services page has been improved to provide an overview for each service associated with your projects, as well as links to your active BIM 360 services.

Sijie Zhang

Sijie is a Product Manager for BIM 360 HQ/Administration at Autodesk. Before joining Autodesk, Sijie worked as a Research Engineer, Technical Safety Engineer, and R&D Program Manager at Chevron, where she worked with multiple stakeholders and developed and deployed technology initiatives. She led research and development projects for advanced visualization for construction and automated design review to support major capital project designs and executions. Sijie received her PhD in Civil Engineering from Georgia Tech in 2014 and her research area includes BIM, VDC, Construction Safety, Rule-Checking, and Semantic Data Modeling.
