BIM 360 Docs Release Notes Archive

A new version (2.5) of the BIM 360 Docs app for iPhone and iPad is available now on the App Store.  This new version includes the ability to search (online and offline), additional markup tools (poly-line and poly-cloud), as well as updated status colors for Issues and RFIs to align with the next-generation BIM 360 user experience.

Search – Online and Offline

You can now search inside a single folder or across all project folders to find the drawings, models, and files that you need.  From the results page, you can take action (such as making the documents available offline).  You can also use the viewer “forward” and “back” navigation tools to quickly review the search results (even if they are in different folders).

Great to see more functionality coming out.  It would be very helpful for our field teams to have a list view option without thumbnails for the files and plans. Often times there are not enough characters to see the file name, and the image doesn’t help if they are looking for something specific.
