Krystian Macek
March 9, 2017

BIM 360 Field version 4.19 contains:

  • Usability improvements for pinning issues, reduce the number of clicks required to place a pushpin on a drawing. The floor plan now opens up in Edit mode allowing the user to zoom in and place a pushpin at the desired location.
  • Checklist module is also redesigned.  Clicking on the checklist name, will navigate users to the corresponding list of checklists that exist on the iPad.  Clicking on the + button to the right of the checklist name creates a new checklist from the corresponding template.Checklist UI improvement.jpg
  • Equipment and task modules now show the status of related equipment or tasks.
  • Subcontractor with View + Add or Edit issue permissions now have the ability to create project issues.
  • Task time can be adjusted in 5 minute increments.

Hello Cjcook – i think that function is when you pin an issue from a chesklist. Then it opens in edit mode and you can pin the issue on the drawing

I believe if you want to edit the scope box or the issues on a sheet you can to use the issues module.

    Hope this helps.

    Hey guys,

I am doing a little testing and when I go from issues list mode to pins mode it is not opening in edit mode? Is anyone else experiencing this?

    Thanks,

Also, it would be great if the Autodesk Doc’s Team would speed up / ramp up to the same feature release pace as the BIM 360 Field Team.

It seems like the list of enhancements / new features for 2017 is already longer than 2016!

We are looking forward to seeing the release notes in 2 weeks, 4 weeks, and 6 weeks plus from now – since it looks like your team is back to 2 week sprints after lots of requests, feedback, and discussions from customers.

If Autodesk can keep this up for several months – hopefully they will get current – ahead of the competition / similar products in the mark place.

All of these features while they seem small are big improvement! We need more of this. What you have released in the last two weeks is the best things that have been released to this product in a long time. Keep up the good work.
