Daily Updates – Markup attachments
With today’s release, Field web users can now markup any Daily Update PDF and photo attachments to indicate work progress or highlight labor activities on site.  To access the markup tools, create a Daily Update entry, go to General Notes section, and attach a floor plan or photo.  Click View to enter the Markup mode.  Any markup created will also be visible on Daily Updates PDF reports.

Issue Tracker dashboard chart updates

Issue Tracker previously stated to show Total vs. Closed number of issues but in fact the data showed Opened vs. Closed issues over a specific time frame.  We modified the language to state Open vs. Closed to more accurately reflect the data that is represented.  Additionally when users setup the chart configuration they had the option to modify the issues timeframe.  Any timeframe that was less than the full project time frame ex. 2 weeks – previously showed:

  • Total number of Open issues during the 2 weeks
  • Total number of Closed issues that were opened and closed during the 2 weeks
  • Total number of Completed issues that were opened and completed during the 2 weeks

With the enhancement, will now show the following data:

  • Total number of Open issues during the 2 weeks
  • Total number of Closed issues during the 2 weeks, regardless of when they were opened
  • Total number of Completed issues during the 2 weeks, regardless of when they were opened

How about the attachment and mark up of photos in the labor activity notes, rather than the general notes? This would then give context to the photos as they will follow below each labor input.

Also, To be able to pick a location. That would be extremely useful.

The option is good, but it would be still better if the option of selecting the printable area is given. This is a problem because, when I take the print of report, small image is being printed with the markup even smaller. so, is there a provision for this?

@GMuehlemann @derek_geyer_bbesl_comMarkup of attachments and photos on the iPad is coming soon!  This functionality is initially only available on the web.
