{"id":1135,"date":"2018-01-23T23:30:15","date_gmt":"2018-01-23T23:30:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.autodesk.com\/bim-360-docs-release-notes\/?p=1135"},"modified":"2018-02-27T17:37:08","modified_gmt":"2018-02-27T17:37:08","slug":"bim-360-docs-update-january-11-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.autodesk.com\/bim360-release-notes\/2018\/01\/23\/bim-360-docs-update-january-11-2018\/","title":{"rendered":"BIM 360 Docs Update &#8211; January 11, 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Have you uploaded PDF drawings to BIM 360 Docs lately?\u00a0 As\u00a0announced in the December release notes, we have significantly improved drawing upload performance (speed) for PDF drawings.\u00a0 As we start 2018, we are happy to let you know that we have improved the user experience on the front end as well, with highly-requested\u00a0Title Block and Review improvements.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Title Block Extraction &#8211; New Vertical Text Support<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We have improved the Title Block data extraction experience by adding full support for Vertical text for both vector and raster PDF drawings.\u00a0 As always, you can select the regions of the title block for Sheet Number, Sheet Title, and any other custom attributes you have defined.\u00a0 We have added a text direction indicator next to each field, so that you can easily define if he text is horizontal, vertical (left-to-right), or vertical (right-to-left).\u00a0 Here is what it looks like when you set up the Title Block:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1136 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.autodesk.com\/bim-360-docs-release-notes\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/122\/2018\/01\/large-415.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"705\" height=\"420\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Review Page Improvements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To better support your upload and publishing workflow, we now provide the option to choose another title block (or create a new one) and reprocess directly from the Review page.
