Autodesk University 2022 - Call for proposals

Autodesk University 2022 – Call for proposals will be opened Monday, March 15 and will go until April 15. The conference this year will see a return to an in-person conference for the first time since 2019. It will take place from September 27-29, 2022. The location has been announced this morning, and the conference will be held in New Orleans, Louisianna… the “Big Easy”.

From the Autodesk University website: “Autodesk University is the design and make conference for innovators everywhere. Learn from industry experts who are progressing architecture, engineering, construction, design, manufacturing, and media and entertainment.”

If you’ve never spoken at Autodesk University in the past, but think you have a great idea for a class, take a look at the website for proposal requirements, the proposal worksheet for planning your submission, and even some examples of good proposals to help guide you in preparing yours.

On the same date that the Autodesk University 2022 – call for proposals goes live, public voting for submissions will also begin. So, even if you do not plan to speak this year you can still have a voice in what classes may get into the final schedule. Voting will take place from March 15 thru April 25.

I have spoken at every Autodesk University conference since 2014, doing classes as well as several community meetups over these years. I am very excited at the idea of returning to an in-person event this year, and I am already thinking about what proposals I will be submitting. I really hope to see as many of you there as possible.
