Revit is first, enabling seamless movement between Forma and Revit with shared data, access to Forma\u2019s analysis tools, and marketplace integrations such as <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.autodesk.com\/forma\/2025\/06\/25\/autodesk-forma-meets-arcgis-how-integrating-geographic-data-gives-designers-a-decision-making-edge\/\"><strong>Esri\u2019s ArcGIS<\/strong><\/a>. At this year&#8217;s AU, there\u2019s even more to come.<br><br>AU25&nbsp;itself was full of highlights. Seeing the <strong>live <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=4NHPSWKDtfY\">Forma demo on main stage<\/a> <\/strong>was a proud moment, personally. I know how much work the team put into making that happen\u2014and they absolutely nailed it. The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.autodesk.com\/forma\/2025\/10\/20\/designing-the-future-creativity-takes-the-stage-at-the-2025-aeco-design-slam\/\">AECO Design Slam<\/a><\/strong> was another standout, where our community pushed the boundaries of Forma Site Design live on stage with so much energy, creativity, and enthusiasm.<\/p>\n\n\n<?xml encoding=\"utf-8\" ?><figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Building Dubai's First Integrated Cancer Hospital using Autodesk Forma\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/s5YsXmokFmU?start=4&amp;feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen style=\"aspect-ratio:500 \/ 281;width:100%;height:auto;\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Another highlight was Stantec&#8217;s <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.autodesk.com\/forma\/2025\/10\/22\/how-stantec-used-formas-sustainability-analyses-to-improve-building-performance-and-patient-wellbeing\/\">Hamdan Bin Rashid Cancer Hospital customer story<\/a><\/strong>. Watching how the Stantec team used Forma Site Design to guide decisions around sustainability and patient wellbeing was a reminder of why we do what we do; helping teams make informed, early decisions that benefit people\u2019s lives is at the heart of what Forma is about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Forma\u2019s impact continues to grow, with projects starting in Forma every day, from housing and stadiums to schools, factories, and more. Across Forma Site Design<strong>, sun hours analysis was the most popular analysis of 2025.<\/strong> It shows us how important passive design strategies remain to designing better built environments. It\u2019s rewarding to see how much architects value this analysis\u2014whether it\u2019s to bring more sun into homes in colder climates or to create shade in the tropics.<br><br>We were proud to receive industry recognition with Forma Site Design being named a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.autodesk.com\/forma\/2025\/12\/11\/forma-site-design-wins-architectural-record-2025-products-of-the-year\/\">winner in the 2025 Architectural Record Best Architectural Products of the Year<\/a><\/strong>. Selected by an independent jury and the Architectural Record team, the jury noted that <em>\u201cForma Site Design is overhauling early-stage design through cloud-based collaboration and integrated workflows.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"2160\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 3840 \/ 2160;\" width=\"3840\" controls src=\"https:\/\/blogs.autodesk.com\/forma\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/163\/rough-cut-1min30-v1-no-FACET_1.mp4\"><\/video><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Forma Building Design helps architects model detailed buildings easier in the schematic design phase. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>A big milestone for 2026 is the upcoming <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.autodesk.com\/forma\/2025\/09\/16\/introducing-forma-building-design\/\"><strong>launch of Forma Building Design<\/strong><\/a><strong>.<\/strong> This is something we\u2019ve been working toward for a long time, and I\u2019m excited for architects to try modeling detailed buildings using an easier tool. More firms see the strategic value in frontloading knowledge, using data to inform big-picture decisions early\u2014data becomes creative input, not just a reporting tool. <ins><br><\/ins>2. AI continues to move from experimentation into everyday workflows, helping teams explore more options, flag issues earlier, and reduce repetitive work. <ins><br><\/ins>3. Firms want more in-house sustainability expertise and they\u2019re empowering designers with accessible analysis tools, while investing in skills that help attract and retain top talent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All of this progress would not be possible without the Forma community \u2013 I want to extend a big thank you to our community for their continued support and valuable feedback that shapes everything we build. And finally, thank you to the Forma team. This progress reflects a lot of hard work\u2014across time zones, Zoom\/Teams calls, and many wins, both big and small, along the way.
