For this reason, it\u2019s critical to establish trust and cooperation from the outset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Oslo\u2019s project\u2014one of Europe\u2019s urban renewal initiatives, a 4.25-square-mile (11-square-km) development\u2014is still in the design stage but is moving rapidly toward breaking ground. When building gets underway, the combined residential-commercial project will create 50,000\u2013100,000 jobs and see as many as 40,000 new homes built.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Overseeing design and delivery for the project\u2019s \u00d8kern S Development is global engineering firm&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.skanska.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Skanska<\/a>. Working with partner developers KLP Eiendom and Bane Nor Eiendom, along with architects and engineers at L\u00f8vseth+partner, NSW Arkitektur, and Dark Design Group, Skanska is advancing designs for several builds near the central area shopping and living area.
