Setting up multiple line style for AutoCAD P&ID

AutoCAD P&ID comes with various out of the box pipe lines to use in your P&ID drawings.

However, there are no out of the box pipe lines available that can be used if you wanted to show something like heat or electrical tracing. In order to do this you will need to create a multiple line style via the Project Setup and the project's projSymbolStyle.dwg.

Multi_Pipe_Line

To show this process I have created an Autodesk Screencast video, "How to setup multiple line style for AutoCAD P&ID".

If you follow through the video this will show you how to create the multiple line style to use in a P&ID project.

Is it possible to edit the line weight of both lines within the multiline individually? I would need the continuous line with a lineweight of 1mm and the Hidden2 line would need to be 0.25mm thick. I didn’t find a workaround to make that possible so far..

Hallo Vanessa, no this isn’t possible. You can only set the line strength for the whole class but not for individual lines of the the multline.
