Warning: Plain AutoCAD Update 2021.1.1 crashes AutoCAD Plant 3D 2021

Note this warning: Recently the plain AutoCAD Update 2021.1.1 was released but this will crash AutoCAD Plant 3D 2021 during pipe routing. This is already under urgent investigation. For now, don’t install this update. If it is already installed, just uninstall it. We will keep you updated.

Bernd has worked for Autodesk Product Support since 2010. His main role quickly moved from supporting vanilla AutoCAD and Install & Licensing to providing technical support for AutoCAD Plant 3D and AutoCAD P&ID for both customers and partners. Currently he is the Knowledge Domain Expert for AutoCAD Plant 3D at Autodesk. Before his time at Autodesk he gained extensive experience over many years working in different sections of the IT industry: CAD-administration, network administration, database development, plot management, programming, project management, PDM-administration, GIS-applications and workflow systems with different products.

  Hi wwebber. It is already escalated to product team and they are working with highest priority on this issue. Currently the update AutoCAD 2021.1.1 is removed from Autodesk Desktop App and Autodesk Account for all Plant 3D users. Only people with EBA and collections can download the update at the moment. I will keep everybody updated when it is fixed.
