March 25, 2020. \u202fWe are\u202fexcited to introduce\u202f<\/span>Autodesk Collaboration for Plant 3D<\/span><\/i>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/i>This release<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>expands our\u00a0<\/span>BIM 360<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>platform<\/span>\u00a0to include<\/span>\u00a0a connection with<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0<\/span>AutoCAD Plant 3D<\/span>\u00a0toolset<\/span>. \u202f<\/span>Now, w<\/span>ith Collaboration for Plant 3D,\u00a0<\/span>plant designers and engineers\u202fcan more effectively manage access permissions<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>and<\/span>\u00a0enable\u00a0<\/span>project teams to share files more securely and collaborate more effectively\u00a0<\/span>any time and from anywhere<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>whether within one firm or across multiple organizations.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Collaboration for Plant 3D makes it easy for project administrators to specify appropriate\u00a0<\/span>levels<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>of access\u00a0<\/span>and\u00a0<\/span>permissions to files before sharing plant projects with key\u00a0<\/span>stakeholders.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>P&ID drafters can work on the P&IDs for the project and\u00a0<\/span>s<\/span>hare those with piping designers who can utilize<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>the P&IDs to create the project’s piping models. \u202fDrafters can more easily collaborate with piping designers to generate the necessary ortho and iso drawings.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>And from start to finish, project managers can check project progress at any stage and assign tasks to get the project completed on time, on budget<\/span>, and\u00a0<\/span>with the highest quality<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
