{"id":52,"date":"2016-08-04T09:51:44","date_gmt":"2016-08-04T09:51:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.autodesk.com\/in-the-pipes\/2016\/08\/04\/autodesk-autocad-plant-3d-2017-service-pack-1\/"},"modified":"2019-07-10T15:11:08","modified_gmt":"2019-07-10T15:11:08","slug":"autodesk-autocad-plant-3d-2017-service-pack-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.autodesk.com\/in-the-pipes\/2016\/08\/04\/autodesk-autocad-plant-3d-2017-service-pack-1\/","title":{"rendered":"Autodesk\u00ae AutoCAD\u00ae Plant 3D 2017 Service Pack 1"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a class=\"ng-binding\" href=\"https:\/\/knowledge.autodesk.com\/support\/autocad-plant-3d\/downloads\/caas\/downloads\/content\/autodesk-C2-AE-autocad-C2-AE-plant-3d-2017-service-pack-1.html?v=2017\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Autodesk\u00ae AutoCAD\u00ae Plant 3D 2017 Service Pack 1<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Primary Issues Resolved by This Service Pack<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Issues fixed with this Service Pack:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Plant 3D <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Advance Steel XML generated in Plant 3D had incorrect data when imported into Revit with Advance Steel Extension.<\/li>\n<li>PCF to Pipe: The wrong valve was chosen and flange orientation was incorrect when importing some third party PCF files.<\/li>\n<li>Cutback elbows were replaced with CustomParts rather than the expected spec part.<\/li>\n<li>Unit conversion on flange from catalog.<\/li>\n<li>Plant 3D 2017 add-in for Vault was unable to obtain a license.<\/li>\n<li>Ortho drawing included objects outside of the ortho cube selection box.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>P&amp;ID <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>P&amp;ID painter style allowed blank as the name.<\/li>\n<li>The Nominal Size list was not displayed in the choose a property list dialog for P&amp;ID Painter in Metric projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Isometrics <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Showing insulation on isometric drawings caused Isos that contain sloped piping to fail.<\/li>\n<li>Isometric was showing offset triangles (skews) in the wrong direction.<\/li>\n<li>Spool annotations were not being applied properly for field welds.<\/li>\n<li>LDT attribute mapping wasn\u2019t working correctly when the LDT excel file contained certain edits like cell merges.<\/li>\n<li>Iso was broken in some cases using victaulic clamps.<\/li>\n<li>When an Iso Annotation Flow Arrow was placed on a pipe and you selected Reverse the flow direction, the flow arrow does not reverse flow. The results varied depending on what visual styles were set to.<\/li>\n<li>If you generated an isometric for line number \u201c1\u201d and there was a flanged connection to line number \u201c2\u201d, if the connector was not on line number \u201c1\u201d, it wouldn\u2019t show the continuation components.<\/li>\n<li>Prod Iso from Model created an isometric drawing with some additional components from a different line number tag.<\/li>\n<li>When creating an Iso from sloped piping that is also skewed, the dimension for the skew triangle was displayed incorrectly.<\/li>\n<li>When static text was entered into the file name setup using Project Setup, the file name prefix was deleted in the Isocofig.xml file.<\/li>\n<li>No break occurred for a specific different line number tag in an isometric drawing.<\/li>\n<li>Pipe connected to pipe in xref showed as OPEN END in isometric.<\/li>\n<li>When setting the Default dimensioning theme to enable string dimensions to the Center of Miscellaneous fittings, any reference dimensions includes additional overall and string dimensions. To keep the additional dimensions from displaying, add the filter &#039;REFERENCE-DIMENSION&#039; for Fitting in IsoConfig.xml.
