Sarah Hodges, director, Autodesk Construction Business Line, revealed these top news items to 10,000 customers in Las Vegas:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Birthday Bash for BIM 360 Docs<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At last year\u2019s Autodesk University, we previewed Autodesk <a href=\"http:\/\/news.autodesk.com\/press-release\/autodesk-declares-new-world-order-construction-document-management\">BIM 360 Docs<\/a>, the long-awaited answer to our construction customers\u2019 collective call for a single source of project truth \u2013 bringing together all plans, models and documents into a single app \u2013 connecting the office and the job site, and keeping the whole project team building from the same, accurate information.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bim360.autodesk.com\/docs\">BIM 360 Docs<\/a> learned to walk at Autodesk University last year \u2013 and this year, our baby is one year old and off and running.<\/p>\n<p>We celebrated BIM 360 Docs\u2019 first birthday with some big news:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>BIM 360 Docs will be available on the Android platform<\/strong>. Android is the second most popular platform used in construction and we made it a goal \u2013 based on our customers\u2019 feedback \u2013 to give this cross-platform functionality to BIM 360 Docs.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Request for Information (RFI) functionality is coming to BIM 360 Docs.<\/strong> Project teams will be able to receive and resolve issues even faster.
