Check out this week\u2019s finds:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The rap on architecture.\u00a0<\/strong>What can architecture learn from hip hop? Plenty, according to architect Mike Ford. His Hip Hop Architecture Camps, sponsored by Autodesk,\u00a0are helping to\u00a0teach STEAM skills while\u00a0connecting\u00a0kids\u00a0with the\u00a0value\u00a0of\u00a0architecture in their community.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnet.com\/news\/autodesk-is-helping-kids-fuse-hip-hop-and-architecture\/\">We like\u00a0CNET\u2019s take<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px\"><em>\u201cI don\u2019t want to design <\/em><strong>for<\/strong><em> someone, I would rather design <\/em><strong>with<\/strong><em> them.\u201d Mike Ford, architect and founder, Urban Arts Collective<\/em><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"2018 Detroit Hip Hop Architecture Camp @ MOCAD\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/61OX-mGJiN8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Rise to the occasion.\u00a0<\/strong>Floating\u00a0homes and other structures\u00a0not only help reduce the risks of climate change,\u00a0they also give cities more room to grow. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.euronews.com\/2018\/04\/09\/how-floating-architecture-could-help-save-cities-rising-seas-ncna863976\">Euronews dives in<\/a> to what\u2019s possible.<\/li>\n<li><strong>What would a human do?\u00a0<\/strong>The manufacturing world is moving from mass production to mass customization.
