November 13th in New York City marked the second annual occurrence of The Tabby Awards<\/a>\u2014the only competition for the best business and productivity tablet apps on all major platforms, including iOS, Android and Windows 8.<\/p>\n

\"Tabby\"<\/a><\/p>\n

AutoCAD 360<\/a> \u2014a free, easy-to-use mobile app that lets users view, create, edit, and share AutoCAD drawings, virtually anytime, anywhere\u2014took home a trophy in the category of \u201cBest in-the-Field\u201d app.<\/p>\n

AutoCAD 360 provides essential tools for sketching and documenting that enable users to redline drawings on-site, document as-builts, and share DWG drawings\u2014all from their mobile devices. The app saves the changes users make in AutoCAD to the cloud while they work\u2014with no need to worry about backups or copying files between devices.<\/p>\n

An international jury of more than 20 tablet app developers and mobile experts selected the apps from over 100 submissions from a dozen countries. Milind Gadekar, Co-Founder and CEO of CloudOn\u2014a chart-topping and previous Tabby Awards winning app\u2014chaired the judging panel.<\/p>\n

The judges said: \u201cThis is a complex concept, and the app handles it very nicely. Great UI, and also flexible features that make it very appealing. Designers will finally have the ability to work with their projects rather than remaining disconnected.\u201d<\/p>\n
