Today\u2019s product development trends are actively pointing to the fact that we\u2019re in the midst of a new industrial revolution, which has modern manufacturers demanding new ways of working and unlimited access to essential tools that put them in the center of their own design. Following June\u2019s launch<\/a> of Autodesk Fusion 360<\/a>, Autodesk is continuing to add to its cloud services portfolio and address this growing need with the introduction of several next-generation, cloud-based design and engineering tools: Autodesk Sim 360<\/a>, Autodesk Mockup 360<\/a> and Autodesk Configurator 360<\/a>.<\/p>\n

These new additions to the Autodesk 360 family<\/a>, which are based on the Autodesk 360 cloud-based design platform that has been accessed by 15 million users since September 2011, provide a flexible platform for manufacturers to access advanced capabilities faster and more dynamically than ever. <\/p>\n

Sim 360 Product Family Expands<\/strong><\/p>\n

Autodesk Sim 360 is a cloud-based mechanical simulation solution that provides a cost-effective way to predict, optimize, and validate product performance. Sim 360 joins the existing family of cloud-based simulation offerings including Sim 360 Pro<\/a> and Sim 360 Moldflow. The new Simulation offering also includes powerful geometry modification capabilities along with an intuitive environment to prepare models for analysis.<\/p>\n

With capabilities to chat, leave notes, check clashes and track changes on extremely large data sets, Mockup 360 eliminates the need for expensive IT infrastructure. <\/p>\n
