If you\u2019re reading this at the office, then you won\u2019t have to look very far to see the impact that mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) design has on internal environments.<\/p>\n

Look around you. How\u2019s the lighting in your area of the building? How about the temperature? Does it strike the right balance between \u201cnot too hot\u201d and \u201cnot too cold\u201d?<\/p>\n

These are just some of the ways MEP helps provide a balanced internal environment and a comfortable space for occupants. Of course, proper MEP design doesn\u2019t just benefit the building occupants \u2014 it also benefits the environment by reducing a building\u2019s energy footprint, and decreasing carbon emissions.<\/p>\n
