\/>\nare looking forward to implementing the Autodesk solutions,\u201d said Alvin<br \/>\nDominguez, P.E., NMDOT Cabinet Secretary.&#160; \u201cThe New Mexico Department of<br \/>\nTransportation expects to pay for the software within two years of full<br \/>\nimplementation through cost savings realized in the reduction of change<br \/>\norders.&#160; The use of 3D modeling capabilities will improve our public input<br \/>\non projects promoting positive customer relations and needed transparency<br \/>\nthroughout our project development process.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNew Mexico\u2019s decision to<br \/>\nstandardize on Autodesk solutions adds them to a growing list of major U.S.<br \/>\ndepartments of transportation, such as Caltrans, that have made the move to<br \/>\nAutodesk BIM for infrastructure solutions,\u201c said Lisa Campbell, Autodesk vice<br \/>\npresident of engineering and infrastructure. \u201cWe\u2019re seeing rapidly expanding<br \/>\ninterest within the transportation community for the Autodesk BIM for<br \/>\ninfrastructure solutions, which help designers and civil engineers in both<br \/>\nconsulting firms and government agencies plan, design,
