Designing sheet metal parts involve some different design methodologies compared to traditional component design, as you likely already know if you’re reading this. Often times in sheet metal design, you’ll need to integrate certain cutouts or punch designs into a variety of components. Perhaps a cutout for a particular connector or plug. To streamline this common process, you can take advantage of the punch tool for sheet metal.
