QUICK TIP: Compare Simulation Results in Fusion 360

June 20, 2017

With every cloud solve I run, I gain valuable information to help drive my next design change…but before I start chopping –or reinforcing– my designs from what the results tell me, I need to interpret it. Luckily, Fusion 360 has a powerful way of comparing simulation results side-by-side, and within this special workspace, you have some incredibly helpful options to make parsing the info even easier.

In this week’s QUICK TIP, I’ll show you a couple of ways you can use this to make those informed design decisions:

As you can see, there’s some incredible value in being able to synchronize the camera, result type, and max/mix across up to 4 different studies at once. Whether you’re looking at different loading situations, different study types, or different geometry, use this information to make the most optimized designs you can. See the help file to learn more!

I hope that helps! Get on IdeaStation to add your feedback on how we can improve this, or Fusion 360 in general.
