These features can help save you time and effort by allowing you to quickly manage and assign products to users, and helping you organize your subscriptions and data across your entire organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1. Guest user&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As of February, certain cloud collaboration products are now integrated with your team in Autodesk Account. This gives you visibility in your Account to see users that have been added to a project and assigned to a product from your team. Users added to your team from a supported&nbsp;cloud collaboration product&nbsp;also automatically appear as a guest user in your user list. You are also able to apply a guest user tag to any user in your list. You can filter guest users from view in your user list and easily turn a user\u2019s guest tag on and off. See the list of cloud collaboration products that support guest users,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/knowledge.autodesk.com\/customer-service\/account-management\/users-software\/user-management\/named-users\">here<\/a>. As we add support for more products, we\u2019ll update this list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/ephub-production\/uploads%2F1612543211666-Integrated+cloud+collaboration+products+copy.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/ephub-production\/uploads%2F1612308005816-image2020-12-11_10-53-55.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2. In Progress:<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>Self-Service&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>Team Management&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are working to make self-service team management available to you&nbsp;for&nbsp;easier subscription management. With this feature, you will soon have the ability create additional teams within your Autodesk Account, a capability that previously required assistance from Autodesk support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Every customer has one default team, and in most cases, you will only need one team. However, if you need to separate your subscriptions, usage data, and billing across the various divisions of your organization, you can now create additional teams within your Autodesk Account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/ephub-production\/uploads%2F1613515244032-Move+subscription-Step+1-Team+selector-1+team-dropdown.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Creating additional teams can be helpful when your company has multiple companies or organizations that are not related, but you want to purchase subscriptions centrally for your entire organization. By creating a team for each division, the primary&nbsp;&nbsp;admins for those teams will only manage the subscriptions their division pays for, not all of the subscriptions your organization owns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tip:<\/strong>&nbsp;If you need to organize users &amp; assignments,&nbsp;<strong>groups<\/strong>&nbsp;are the way to go. If you need to organize subscriptions, try using&nbsp;<strong>teams<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3. In Progress: Groups&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We&#8217;ve also begun work to bring &#8220;groups&#8221; to user management.&nbsp;For easier user management, groups will give you the ability to organize users by similar roles, such as architects or designers, who need the same product assignments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/ephub-production\/uploads%2F1613515329391-image+%283%29.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/ephub-production\/uploads%2F1613515342218-image+%284%29.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, if you have users in your organization who only use 3D design products and others who only use AutoCAD LT, you can create a separate group for each. Now, you can quickly assign and un-assign the right set of products to each group based on their roles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For another example, if you work with users external to your company who need access to a different set of products than users who belong to your company, you can also create a separate group for the users who are not with your company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tip:<\/strong>&nbsp;If you create a group entirely of external users, you can also apply the new guest user tag to each of them, so they\u2019ll be tagged as \u2018guests\u2019 in your user list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the future, you\u2019ll also be able to sync groups from your Active Directory with Autodesk Account to be able to assign groups of users to a default set of products based on their permissions in Active Directory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Check back on this blog as we release these features to stay up to date and see what else is coming to Autodesk Account by visiting the&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.autodesk.com\/admin-roadmap\">roadmap<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We\u2019re working to bring three new features to Autodesk Account.
