Autodesk Stingray : interactions avec Autodesk 3ds Max

Lors de ce billet, je vous parlais des différents workflows entre des logiciels Autodesk et Autodesk Stingray. Et bien voici en pratique la liaison avec le logiciel Autodesk 3ds Max.

 

1- Connecter les deux logiciels :

Après avoir démarré les deux logiciels :

Dans le logiciel 3ds Max, sur le bouton  “Stingray”, cliquer sur l’option “Connect” :

Astuce : Dans le cas où le bouton “Stingray” n’apparaît pas (suite à une mauvaise installation par exemple), vous pouvez l’installer manuellement en double cliquant sur le fichier “StingrayDCCLink.msi” disponible dans le répertoire “C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Stingray\NumVersion\extras”.

 

2- Envoyer votre scène vers Autodesk Stingray :

Une fois les deux logiciels connectés, il est possible d’envoyer votre scène de 3ds Max vers Stingray et cela en un seul clic. Dans le logiciel Autodesk 3ds Max, cliquer sur le bouton “Stingray” :

Si nous utilisons “Level Send All”, la fenêtre ci-dessous apparaît.

Elle propose différents paramètres tels que les :

Le temps de transfert est variable, il est fonction des éléments que vous exportez  (objets, textures,…) et aussi de leur nombre.

 

3- Synchronisation actif de la caméra  :

Une fois l’export effectué, activez l’option “Live Camera Tracking”.

Celle-ci permet de synchroniser les divers mouvements de points de vue d’un logiciel à un autre.

Nota : Cette fonctionnalité est bi-directionnelle.
