Le webinaire “Pensez l’aménagement du territoire en mode BIM avec InfraWorks 360” que j’ai eu le plaisir d’animer le 30 juin 2016 a suscité de nombreuses réflexions et questions de la part des participants.

Mon collègue Stéphane Balmain m’assistait et a répondu par écrit à certaines d’entre elles via l’interface GoToWebinar. J’ai également répondu à d’autres questions en fin de session.

Il me semble intéressant de partager plus largement ces questions (et surtout leur réponses) car cela constitue un excellent complément d’informations.

Vous trouverez donc ci-dessous la liste des questions posées durant le webinaire et les réponses que je suis en mesure d’y apporter avec, le cas échéant, des liens vers des informations complémentaires (articles, pages web, vidéos…)

 

Q1 : Peut-on placer un Label (une étiquette fixe) sur les parcelles?

R : Oui, il est possible de placer des étiquettes 3D via des objets POI (Point Of Interest). Il est aussi possible de placer des étiquettes 2D en plaquant des images (fichier raster selon de nombreux formats) ou bien directement du DWG sur le terrain du modèle. Q2 : Bel exemple d'intégration de vecteur. Est-il possible d'ajouter des données raster ?

R : Oui, il est possible d’ajouter des données raster géoréférencées mais aussi de placer manuellement des images de tout type sur le terrain du modèle. Cette dernière possibilité est détaillée dans l’article du blog Civil Made in France consultable au lien ci-dessous :

Q3 : Pouvez-vous nous dire quel format IFC peut être importé puisque les IFC infrastructure n'existent pas ?

R : InfraWorks 360 interprète et modélise en 3D le contenu des fichiers IFC. Le fichier exploité durant le webinaire est un IFC 2X3 exporté depuis Revit.

InfraWorks 360 reconnait de nombreux formats ouverts dont un des plus utilisés pour l’infrastructure aujourd’hui : le LandXML.

 

Q4 : Quelles données sont utilisées par le Model Builder ? Notamment pour les alti/hauteurs de bâtiments.

R : La réponse a été donnée ultérieurement dans le webinaire (21ème minute de l’enregistrement disponible en ligne).

 

Q5 : Est-il possible de faire une étude de visibilité directement avec Infraworks360 ?

R : Oui, des outils d’analyses sont proposés dans InfraWorks 360 pour la visibilité (à partir de la 59ème minute de l’enregistrement disponible en ligne)

 

Q6 : Pouvez-vous également nous présenter les applications pour les canalisations svp ?

R : Seuls les aspects généraux d’InfraWorks 360 ont pu être illustrés dans ce webinaire. Vous trouverez d’autres informations concernant les canalisations aux liens suivants :

Q7 : Peut-on travailler à plusieurs sur un modèle InfraWorks 360 ?

R : Oui. Le travail est toujours réalisé sur les données stockées sur votre machine puis synchronisé pour mettre à jour le modèle partagé. Il faut donc que l’administrateur du groupe de partage coordonne les interventions (à travers les droits d’accès au modèle pour chaque membre du groupe de partage par exemple). Une des façons de travailler est d’attribuer des propositions différentes aux éditeurs du modèle puis de fusionner les propositions après discussion et validation.

 

Q8 : Est-il possible de s'appuyer non pas sur les données issues de Model Builder pour réaliser son projet mais sur un relevé en maillage 3D texturé (MNT réalisé par photogrammétrie)? Si oui quelles sont les limitations en volumétrie de données? Formats?

R : Oui, il est possible d’exploiter de nombreuses sources de données différentes et de “mixer” ces sources dans un même modèle. Vous trouverez au lien ci-dessous un article du blog Civil Made in France sur ce sujet avec une vidéo qui illustre les manipulations spécifiques :

Nous n’avons pas identifié de limite de taille des données autre que les capacités liées à la machine. La liste des principaux formats supportés est illustrée dans l’enregistrement disponible en ligne (vers la 41ème minute).

 

Q9 : Suite de ma question : peut-on importer son propre MNT ?

R : Oui, très facilement via LandXML ou DWG

 

Q10 : Est-il possible de démarrer à partir des données IGN ?

R : Oui il est possible de démarrer d’un projet vierge et d’ajouter des données IGN. D’autres illustrations de ce qu’il est possible de faire sont disponibles dans l’article du blog Civil Made in France disponible au lien ci-dessous :

Q11 : Peut-on intégrer des éléments externes via des serveurs wms ?

R : Oui, les flux WMS et WFS sont supportés par InfraWorks 360

 

Q12 : Les données créées dans Infraworks 360 peuvent-elles être exploitables par Covadis ?

R : Oui, il est possible d’importer des données InfraWorks 360 dans Covadis. Ce point précis est illustré à partir de la 54ème minute de l’enregistrement disponible en ligne.

 

Q13 : Si on peut faire des conceptions avec InfraWorks 360 alors c'est seulement la topo qui sera gérée par Covadis ?

R : Oui, si vous souhaitez utiliser les outils de conception d’InfraWorks 360 pour créer des propositions d’aménagement, l’import d’une topo (et d’une image aérienne) créée avec Covadis suffira.

La conception peut être réalisée dans Covadis et/ou dans InfraWorks 360 avec un échange bidirectionnel entre les deux logiciels.

Q14 : Peut-on récupérer les entités plateformes de Covadis dans InfraWorks 360 ?

R : Les entités plateformes ne sont pas nativement interprétées par InfraWorks 360, uniquement les objets « surfaces » ou alors les volumes 3D générées à partir des plateformes. Je vous conseille de vous rapprocher de votre éditeur pour trouver avec lui la meilleure solution.

 

Q15 : Sur la version d'essai, a-t-on la possibilité de créer un Modèle Builder ?

R : Oui, toutes les fonctionnalités sont actives durant les 30 jours de test.

 

Q16 : Si nous n'avons pas Civil 3D mais des données issues d’AutoCAD LT, pouvons les importer ?

R : Le format DWG est reconnu d’une manière générale. Il vous sera possible d’importer vos données 2D AutoCAD LT dans un modèle InfraWorks 360.

 

Q17 : Quel est le format des données d'entrées du modèle de Bordeaux ?

R : le modèle de Bordeaux montré en début de session est construit à partir de données DWG pour la topo (triangulation) et CityGML pour les bâtiments.

 

Q18 : Où peut-on consulter les données City GML ? Quel site contient la base de ces données ? Merci.

R : Les exemples proposés ont été construits à partir de données CityGML téléchargées sur les portails des agglomérations de Bordeaux et de Lyon dont les adresses sont ci-dessous :

Q19 : Quels sont les autres formats d'exports disponibles hors IMX ?

R : Il est possible d’exporter aussi au format FBX. Un modèle peut directement être ouvert dans Civil 3D et dans AutoCAD Map 3D (il est alors possible de réintégrer les données dans un SIG).

 

Q20 : Génération et visualisation de tout type de réseaux humides (EP, EU, …), secs (EDF, Télécoms) sont-ils possibles ?

Q21 : Quelles sont les fonctionnalités pour la conception de réseaux (hors assainissement) ?

R : Il n’existe aujourd’hui que des outils dédiés pour la création et l’analyse des réseaux humides. Les réseaux secs peuvent être importés après création dans une autre application.

 

Q22 : Est-ce que "Infraworks 360" fonctionne "offline" ?

R : Une connexion internet est nécessaire pour activer InfraWorks 360 à l’ouverture du logiciel (login et mot de passe pour accès au compte associé). Un partage de connexion temporaire avec un smartphone suffit largement. Pour le reste, le travail sur un modèle peut se faire offline. Pour un travail en mode partagé, une synchronisation du modèle pourra être faite une fois connecté.

 

Q23 : Qu'en est-il de la qualité des informations dans les zones rurales ?

R : Tout dépend de ce qui est disponible dans OpenStreetMap pour la zone étudiée. Il est possible de consulter OpenStreetMap de façon indépendante pour évaluer une zone particulière.

 

Q24 : Importation des fichiers mensura possible ?

R : Une interopérabilité via le format LandXML est certainement possible. Je vous recommande de vous rapprocher de votre éditeur.

 

Q25 : Bonjour, est-il possible d'importer des éléments au format SKP de SketchUp ? Merci

R : Oui, le format SKP est lu nativement par InfraWorks 360 (vers 41ème minute de l’enregistrement disponible en ligne).

 

Q26 : D'où viennent les textures des bâtiments dans cet exemple ?

Q27 : Les façades sont-elles générées aléatoirement ?

R : pour les bâtiments générés par Model Builder en automatique, ce sont des textures de la bibliothèque qui sont appliquées aléatoirement par InfraWorks 360. Pour les modèles de Bordeaux et de Lyon, les textures sont incluses dans le format CityGML exploité. Pour les bâtiments Revit et IFC insérés dans le modèle, ce sont les textures portées dans les fichiers exploités.

 

Q28 : Il y a-t-il un workflow vers 3ds Max ?

R : Oui, il existe des workflows entre InfraWorks 360 et 3ds Max, notamment via du FBX.

 

Q29 : Quelle configuration de PC (carte graphique) est-elle recommandée ?

R : Les recommandations pour le matériel sont précisées au lien suivant :

Q30 : A partir du modèle route peut-on sortir des estimatifs de quantités ?

R : On ne peut consulter dans la version actuelle que les quantités des terrassements (déblais et remblais). Les quantités de structures (couches de chaussées) sont à calculer par application de ratio selon le linéaire (disponible dans les informations sur les objets routes).

 

Q31 : InfraWorks 360 édite-t-il des cubatures, des métrés….

R : oui, les déblais / remblais sont accessibles à tout moment. Pour la création des ponts avec l’outil dédié, un quantitatif pour le béton et le ferraillage est dynamiquement proposé pour le tablier, les piles et les fondations.

 

Q32 : Existe-t-il une version d'évaluation d'Infra Works téléchargeable ?

R : Oui, au lien ci-dessous

Q33 : Le travail en mode collaboratif en ligne ralentit lourdement les fichiers

R : Non pas du tout. Le travail n’est jamais réalisé directement en ligne mais en local puis synchronisé. C’est l’utilisateur qui décide de la synchronisation.

Q34 : Est-il possible de changer de système de projection et passer la dalle en Lambert 93 ?

R : Oui, tous les systèmes de projection sont à tout moment disponibles.

 

Q35 : Quelles sont les limitations de volume ?

R : Il n’y a pas de réelle limitation de taille pour les modèles InfraWorks 360. Ils peuvent en théorie couvrir le globe. La limitation sera la capacité de la machine à les manipuler.

 

Q36 : InfraWorks 360, mode SIG plutôt que mode BIM…

R : Les possibilités illustrées vont au-delà du SIG : interopérabilité avec de nombreux formats dont l’IFC, partage et communication, conception technique interactive avancée …

 

Q37 : Quelles crues peuvent être simulées ?

Q38 : Est ce qu'il y a une interaction avec Autodesk CFD ?

R : Aujourd’hui il faut exploiter un workflow pour l’échange avec CFD. Toutefois, un projet est en cours sur ce thème (actuellement en phase d’évaluation dans Autodesk Labs). Plus d’information au lien ci-dessous :

Q39 : A quand un tutoriel en français ?

R : la majeure partie des ressources est disponible en français

Q40 : Autoturn ?

R : InfraWorks 360 n’est pas compatible avec Autoturn. Autodesk propose sa propre solution d’évaluation d’épures de giration (Autodesk Vehicle Tracking) optimisée entre autre pour Autodesk Civil 3D. Et InfraWorks 360 et Civil 3D sont nativement intéropérables.

 

Q41 : Ruissellement ? Débordement réseaux ? Submersion marines ?

R : Ruissellements : InfraWorks 360 calcule les débits de pointe des BV naturels (délimitations automatiques) et des surfaces imperméabilisées par les infrastructures en tenant compte des coefficients de ruissellement et des pluies de projet.

R : Débordement de réseaux : InfraWorks 360 analyse la capacité des réseaux en fonction des impluviums connectés et de la pluie de projet selon la fréquence de retour sélectionnée.

R : aujourd’hui les submersions marines de sont pas traitées par le module de simulation de crues (Project Boulder).

 

Q42 : Pluie double triangle etc. ?

R : Je ne pense pas que cette approche soit intégrée dans InfraWorks 360.

 

Q43 : L’environnement urbain n’est pas souvent très attractif, on est obligés de refaire les façades des bâtiments

R : Model Builder génère en quelques minutes un modèle 3D d’un site sans que l’utilisateur ne dispose d’aucune données. Pour plus de précision et de réalisme sur certains secteurs, il est effectivement nécessaire de compléter. Il est par exemple possible d’ajouter des textures de façades à partir de photos numériques des bâtiments et de les plaquer sur les volumes automatiquement générés. Il est aussi possible d’insérer le modèle Revit d’un bâtiment existant.

 

Q44 : Il fait des parkings ?

R : Il n’y a aujourd’hui pas d’outils dédiés à la création des parkings. Il est toutefois simple de les créer avec les outils de plateforme. Deux articles du blog Civil Made in France consultables aux liens ci-dessous illustrent ce point :

Q45 : C’est un outil de concertation plus qu’un outil de conception, n’est-ce pas ?

R : Les deux en fait. Les modules de conception techniques sont puissants et évoluent rapidement et les capacités de communication sont aussi très étendues (partage des modèles, publication web, animations, export vidéos si nécessaire…)

 

Q46 : Faut-il AutoCAD Map pour importer des données InfraWorks 360 ou AutoCAD seul suffit ?

R : Il faut AutoCAD Civil 3D pour ouvrir directement les modèles InfraWorks 360 car les entités de surface topo, axes en plan, profil en long, réseaux, etc. sont des entités « Civil ». Dans AutoCAD Map 3D seul, par lecture du format SQLite, ces entités deviennent des objets filaires exploitables avec un SIG et perdent donc une bonne part de leur intelligence.

 

Q47 : C'est de la donnée cadastrale ? Comment est gérée la mise à jour dans votre base de données ? Est-on sûr que l'info est juste ?

R : Dans l’exemple proposé, le parcellaire provient d’une base de données SIG (export SDF). Pour la mise à jour de la base après édition dans InfraWorks 360, c’est AutoCAD Map 3D qui est utilisé.L’exactitude des données dépend bien évidemment de la qualité de la source et de l’organisme qui fournit cette donnée.

 

Q48 : Pour les routes est-il possible de créer les profils en travers que l'on souhaite ?

R : Oui, tout est éditable. La création de bibliothèques personnalisées échangeables entre modèles est un processus simple.

 

Q49 : Toutes les figurines que nous avons vues dans votre démo sont-elles dans InfraWorks 360 ? ou vous les avez importé d'autre sources ?

R : Tout ce qui est présenté dans le webinaire provient exclusivement des bibliothèques par défaut. Elles peuvent être enrichies avec d’autres objets si besoin.
