What is your favorite part about working at Autodesk?

Valeriia: A few years ago, I decided to pursue my interest in studying 3D environmental design. I was fascinated by the ability to create immersive universes like you see in the movies – and you can’t imagine a modern 3D design without Autodesk Maya. I came across a position at Autodesk as an Export Customer Screening Analyst, and since I was already familiar with the company, I was eager to seize this opportunity. I’m grateful for the chance to work at Autodesk – knowing my efforts contribute to a safer and more responsible technological landscape motivates me every day.

Grant: I was looking for an opportunity to lead a sales and operations team and found the opportunity here at Autodesk. After researching the company, I liked the mission, values, and how many industries use Autodesk software. My favorite part is the people I work with and our genuine concern for the success of our customers. Any time someone asks me where I work, I take pleasure in getting to explain who Autodesk is and how much our software plays a role in their daily lives.

Kamlesh: I came across Autodesk software like 3DS Max and Maya while working for a video game publisher and had the wonderful opportunity to join Autodesk’s Dublin team as part of the company’s new strategic EMEA headquarters. My favorite thing about working here is that there is always something new to learn and opportunities to interact with so many cross-functional teams.

How does the work you’re doing help make the world a better place?

Kamlesh: The work we do at Premier supports our Enterprise business customers in optimizing their use of Autodesk’s software offerings. This has a direct impact on the end user – whether it is an electric car, a greener building design, a better road infrastructure, or more rich and immersive cinematic experiences. I am always proud to work for Autodesk as our software empowers our customers to design, prototype, and manufacture world-class products.

Valeriia: Autodesk’s commitment to environmental conservation and its impact on various industries is truly inspiring. I’m grateful to be associated with a company that not only fosters technological advancements but also contributes to the betterment of our planet. Every day, we make a difference by using Autodesk’s capabilities to safeguard families, communities, and countries to the best of our ability. We contribute to creating a safer and more secure world through our work. With the help of Autodesk, we strive to make a positive impact and contribute to the betterment of society as a whole.

Grant: Our software is integral for millions of customers working on critical projects, so keeping our customers up and running is key to their success. Additionally, our team is global and works around the clock to support our customers, so the more aligned and collaborative we are in supporting each other, the better experience our customers have – and the more productive they can be using our software to make the world a better place!

Why should someone want to come work in Global Customer Operations at Autodesk?

Grant: Our team deals directly with customers and partners and has the opportunity to be heroes every day for them, which our team is very passionate about. GCO has evolved over the years, but the one thing that remains constant is our commitment to staying customer-focused and working together to solve issues on behalf of our customers. I couldn’t be prouder of the team and their ability to adapt to the changing landscape in GCO. When all else fails, you can call on us – we are the team that will have the answer or help you find it elsewhere in Autodesk!

Kamlesh: Global Customer Operations is the gateway to so many opportunities. Because you interact with so many other teams, you get a degree of exposure to other business areas where you might develop more interest in a particular field that suits your attributes and skillsets. Additionally, Autodesk promotes an inclusive culture with exciting events like the Football World Cup. And in our Dublin office, we even have a rock band that performs during various events!

Valeriia: GCO offers a wealth of opportunities for personal and professional development. Autodesk is committed to supporting our growth in various ways, including providing access to courses and training programs that enable us to enhance our skills and advance as professionals. In addition to professional development, there are a range of extracurricular activities, from yoga and running to engaging in the Football World Cup tournament with teams from around the globe, there are ample opportunities to stay socially active and connect with colleagues.

For individuals seeking continuous growth and a socially vibrant workplace, the GCO team at Autodesk is an ideal place to thrive. The combination of professional development opportunities and a supportive community makes it a rewarding and fulfilling environment.
