BIM 360 Release Notes

Introduction

The June 4, 2018 BIM 360 Field Management update delivers new functionality to support checklist management, including:

  • Ability to run checklists within the web environment
  • Ability to define non-conforming values within the Checkbox & Multiple Choice Response Type

Ability to run checklists within the web environment

In order to allow more flexibility when it comes to running inspections we have added the ability to complete your checklists also within the web environment. This allows you to run the initial inspection out on site and come back the trailer and make any adjustments as necessary.

The initial release allows for the responding of the questions and we will continue development with the ability to add photos etc on the web at a later date.

Ability to define non-conforming values within a Checkbox & Multiple Choice Response Type

We recently released two list response types, checkbox and multiple choice. With this latest release we have now added the ability to define which of the possible answers within the customized list are non-conforming responses. This will later allow for the automatic creation of issues if one of these answers is selected.

As can be seen below, the default for each answer provided within the list is conforming. The user then has the option to manually define which answer should result in a non-conforming response by selecting toggle within the non-conforming column adjacent to the corresponding answer.
