Introduction

The May 22nd, 2019 BIM 360 Field Management update delivers the following enhancements.

  • Add Photos to Checklist Items in Web
  • Remove Checklist Item Photos

Attach Photos to Checklist Items in Web

With the recent release we have provided support to be able to add photos to checklist items within the web experience.

Attaching Photos

In addition to the generation of notes and issues for individual checklist items, today’s release brings you the ability to  add photos within the web experience.

A new “Camera” icon has been added beneath each item within your inspection. This allows the user to browse on their hard drive and add photos as required to supplement their response.

Once the photos are added they can be seen directly within the checklist. These photos are also added directly to the BIM 360 Photo Module which is currently available for early access.

Hovering over the photo introduces the capability for the user to permanently remove the photo from the checklist as shown below.

This recent enhancement to the Field Management Checklists supports the project team finish their inspections from inside the warmth of the trailer!
