The June 6, 2019 update for Model Coordination introduces IFC support for inclusion in aggregation and coordination workflows.
IFC Support
We’re pleased to announce that IFC files exported from Revit, Tekla or ARCHICAD are now included in Model Coordination. Available to aggregate alongside RVT and DWG models, the addition of IFC (a standard exchange format for some companies and countries) helps to include design and trade models, creating a more complete project view.
Any combination of models from RVT, DWG or newly supported IFC files (within a coordination space / corresponding folder in BIM 360 Document Management), will be automatically included in clash tests, with results available for review, classification and assignment as issues for resolution.
