Community Expert Elite members Tolgay Hickiran and Kivanc Kizildemir were featured in a recent Autodesk Customer Success story about their firm, Codeo, and their work on design automation using Forge.
Tolgay and Kivanc are active members of the Autodesk Community in Turkey, living in Izmir, Turkey and have been part of the Expert Elite program since 2017 and 2019.

Tolgay said the following about the community, “Autodesk Community is the best place out there to learn about the software from the basics to the very advanced topics. I started using Autodesk products in 2016 and quickly adapted myself to solve all my issues by reading forum posts. Then thanks to Autodesk Turkish Community, I got invited to be a member and I started to share my own experience about programming and using Fusion 360 and Inventor. Sharing knowledge is one of the best ways to learn so I decided to keep on doing it. Because of the community efforts I met with lots of like minded people and also attended two Autodesk Universities and also gave some speeches. In 2020 and 2021, our team got awarded with Forge Hackathon prizes. I really can’t thank enough to Autodesk Community since it was the first place I understood how a real community can get a person to use a product. Without a doubt, Autodesk Community is one of the best software communities out there. Unless there was one, I wouldn’t be able to solve my problems with the software workflows and probably quit using the software a long time ago.”
Kivanc expressed his thoughts as follows, “I’ve been in this great community since 2019. Our business Codeo has grown a lot during this period. It’s not a coincidence. We learned about Inventor, Fusion360, Autodesk CFD, Forge from the community. Then we contributed to the community and the community supported us. We became what we aim. I proudly had my fourth AU experience as a speaker this year. This is a perfect example of growth on both a personal and business basis. Thanks to the community! It’s fantastic to be a part of a great community!”
Codeo is focused on sustainability and helps engineer-to-order companies eliminate wasteful processes when it comes to CPQ (configure-price-quote), design, and PDM (product data management).
