Car Design News hosted their first-ever Virtual Car Design Dialogues event last year in North America, Europe, and the Asia Pacific region. The event was very well attended, and there were a host of companies represented.
While the world is slowly starting to open up, the ongoing coronavirus pandemic is still making travel to automotive shows and events challenging. With this in mind, Car Design News has decided to host another Design Dialogues event, starting off in the Americas.
Similar to last year’s event, each day’s session comprises Design Reviews from various car companies of their latest vehicles, Fireside chat sessions on various topics, and panel sessions. Speakers this year come from a variety of companies including:
- Karma Automotive
- GAC
- Pixar
- Adobe
- Magna
- Ford
- Stellantis
- Nissan
- Lucid Motors
Complementing these companies are panel sessions from various sponsors, including Autodesk. The Autodesk session is on Feb 9th, from 9:45 – 10:30 am PST, 12:45 – 1:30pm EST. Our own Thomas Heermann will be joined by special guests Derek Jenkins, VP of Design and Brand, Lucid Motors, and Michael Check, CEO of Linkage Design, as they talk about The Changing Landscape of Automotive Design. The session will be moderated by Abel Sampson of CDN. You can visit the Autodesk Sponsor page here:

These informative sessions give you a firsthand view of the newest vehicles and a rare behind-the-scenes tour of the process that went into the creation of these vehicles. Hope to see you all there!
