I am a big fan of using point clouds over the past years (you might have noticed)
With the capability of AutoCAD and the Recap engine making using point clouds in AutoCAD a very easy and capable feature.
However using more longer linear type point clouds, say that have been captured using mobile technology, my example below was captured by Topcon IPS2 equipment.
Orbit of this long point cloud you can see in the video that is orbits around the centroid of the point cloud object and not at the cursor position.
So changing this system variable ORBITAUTOTARGET and setting the value to 0, will change the pivot to the position of your cursor and is perfect for this use.
