Announcing the Inaugural Flame Award Nominees

Autodesk is excited to unveil the list of the very impressive nominees for The Flame Award. First announced at NAB, the award celebrates and honors amazing Flame artists who advanced VFX creation over the past 20 years.

The Flame community chose 30 artists as their Flame Award nominees and voting is now open to the public. An advisory board, consisting of Flame artists, VFX supervisors and senior contributors to the post production community, will select the final winner. The board members are:

• Sheena Duggal, Visual Effects Supervisor and Director
• Gilles Gaillard, Managing Director, Mikros Image
• John Montgomery, Co-founder of fxguide and fxphd
• Jake Parker, Flame Artist
• Philippe Soeiro, Lead Product Designer, Autodesk Media & Entertainment
