Quick Tip: UCS to UCS constraint

Tips & Tricks

The user coordinate system, or UCS, can be utilized within Inventor to make assembling components a lot easier. By setting user coordinate systems on individual parts, you can utilize the constraint tool to constrain orientations of different UCSs together. As you’ll see in the video below, this is a useful way of locking the spatial orientation of a part in without having to use a combination of joint or constrain commands. Learn how to take advantage of UCS to UCS constraint below!
