Account and User Management

These projects are aimed at helping you save time with increased efficiency and more control.

Assign cloud products to groups

You can now assign eligible Autodesk cloud collaboration products to groups in account, making it easier to manage access at scale. This includes Autodesk Forma offerings as well as Info360. For Business Success Plan and Enterprise admins, this also unlocks the option to set up default assignments for certain offerings.

Manage users and product assignments more easily

You can now see products assigned ot each user directly from the user management page, under the ‘by user’ subsection with visual product icons. New product and group filters help you find and manage users faster based on product assignments and group memberships, in addition to existing roles and account status filters.

Advanced AI settings in Forma Building Layout Explorer (limited availability)

You can now view and manage advanced AI opt-in settings and data use from the Hubs section in account for US-based Forma hubs, where you may have access to Forma Building Layout Explorer as part of your Forma Design subscriptions, helping you apply hub-wide policies while allowing project-level exceptions as needed. This experience will expand to include additional products over time.

Domain based user role policy

Gain greater control over the role users receive when being added to your team. By defining approved company domains, users with these domains will be added with a user role, while others will be designated as external users (currently known as guest users).

Guided hub setup

You’ll now see a guided setup experience when creating hubs in account for Forma and Fusion Operations, helping you provision and manage hubs across teams more easily. You can create a hub in two simple steps, choose the team, and name and configure the hub from a single page. This experience will expand to additional products over time.

Bulk role change

You can now change roles for more than one user at a time. Select users directly from the list or upload a CSV file to update multiple roles at once.

Assign seats by subscription ID

Assign product access at the subscription level for greater control and visibility. This feature can help you align user access with specific subscriptions and track usage more accurately.

Reporting & Insights

We are constantly working to provide flexible control and insights, so you can better manage your users and business.

Schedule exports

Our new feature helps you personalize your export experience by removing the need to wait within account for downloadable files to generate. You can schedule recurring exports in account from the usage report, seat usage, token usage, team insights, and user management by user and by group pages. You will receive an email notification once the export is ready and can name the file for easier management.

Contextual data export in user management and groups

You can now export filtered usage data directly from the user management, and group pages without having to navigate away to the export page.

Contextual data export in seat and token usage report UI

You can now export seat usage and token usage data directly from their respective pages, making it simpler to access usage information without leaving the current view. The export generates separate files for subscription usage and Flex token consumption, each featuring refreshed column headers for improved clarity. If you have automations that depend on specific column header names or structures, please review them to ensure compatibility. The combined usage file remains available on the all-account export page.

Product version team insights

With new product version insights, you can see less commonly used desktop product versions, organized by product and by team. These insights can help admins understand product version distribution across their teams and identify product versions that represnet a small share of total usage activity.

AutoCAD product performance team insight export

Product performance insights now have a by-user export capability available to all admins to identify which users are experiencing slower than peer group performance for AutoCAD file open, start-up, and save actions.

New usage visibility for admins

We’ve rolled out expanded usage reporting to give admins clearer visibility into consumption – making it easier to track, monitor, and predict usage across your account. Two new reporting views are now launched:

  • API usage – Admins using Autodesk Platform Services (APIS) AEC and Manufacturing Data Model APIs are now able to access detailed API usage reporting, with a granular breakdown at the developer hub and app level.
  • Capacity item usage – Admins with capacity-based subscriptions can view usage reporting for their capacity items, such as renderings and jobs. Available for select products where capacity-based subscriptions are offered (Fusion Machine Connect, Info360 Asset, Info360 Insight, InfoWorks).

Deployment and IT Processes

We are focused on making it easier for you to access our products and updates.

Activity log for custom installs

You can now track who created, modified, moved, downloaded, duplicated or deleted custom install packages, helping improve visibility and accountability across your team.

Schedule update installations

You can now simplify the software update process by scheduling updates for groups of users and products on your desired cadence, helping more of your users operate on the most up-to-date software.

Subscription usage policy

(Bring Your Own Subscription): You will soon be able to set team-level subscription use restrictions for eligible forma offerings, giving you greater control over their use outside your team’s projects and hubs. The capability will expand to additional products over time.

Advanced AI settings

You will soon have access to advanced AI settings in account that help you control access to advanced AI features across a hub and its projects, as well as manage your data use for future Autodesk model training. This can help with clear control over where Advanced AI capabilities are enabled, and settings that align with your organization’s AI policies.

We are constantly working to provide flexible control and insights so you can better manage your users and business.

Autodesk Assistant with admin features

We are hard at work building admin capabilities within Autodesk Assistant, including assigning users to products, managing group memberships, spotting double assignments, usage reporting for subscriptions, Flex access tokens, and Token Flex, usage by product version, identifying inactive users, customizing software package download installs, scheduling software updates, easing the single sign-on set-up process, and setting up and managing hubs and projects. Capabilities will continue to evolve based on real-world use and feedback.
