First the bad news, if you are reading this you are likely already on the internet, it’s not so bad, in fact when you are done reading this go check out some cat pictures, you’ll get the hang of it. And yes I do see some irony here – if you don’t have an internet connection, how are you reading this and how would you know to download the help file in the first place? In fact, if you don’t have a network connection how would you be using Vault in the first place?
Well these files are designed to address situations where you may have a network connection but your office is blocking internet access, or maybe when you are stuck at the airport / in your car without wifi and want to read up on Vault, or maybe you prefer help the way it was in the old days?!
Simply download and extract the Vault help files here as per the instructions and you are all set to go with local help. Now this is different to the manuals we discussed last week, printing is still best done online if you want to have a paper copy, and remember you are going to miss out on lots of good updates and extra information, but this local help will certainly get you through any day to day dramas you might have using Vault.
The help downloads come in two flavors for the desktop and web clients and includes help details on the Vault Client, Add-ins, Job Processor and Webclient as well as ADMS.
