How do I change the landing page channel (In product landing page 2.0)

I assume most of us have seen it, maybe the first time you opened Vault? It’s the landing page, when you log into Vault you are typically taken to a html page with a nice picture, some kind of introduction to the product, an overview of what’s new and a few more detailed product highlights.

We also include on this page a number of useful links to the Vault “community” blogs and discussion group, online help, download-able help files, the knowledge base, YouTube and the Autodesk sites.

After a while though, this page maybe gets a little old, as it is an ADMS based form it only updates when the server is updated meaning the information presented is static. Now, the good news is you can get creative and build your own landing page if you like, we even have a Wiki Article on how to do that here, it’s a novel way to communicate with your Vault users and manage the information you want them to see. As of Vault 2013 though, Autodesk has taken the landing page to a new level by adding access to a new “live” landing page.

In product 1
This means that if your server has an internet connection enabled, Vault 2013 provides access to a live landing page with the latest information from the Autodesk Vault team – updated useful links, latest product information and customer stories. The online form of the landing page does offer all sorts of communication opportunities and we intend to update this throughout the year to ensure that the most useful information is available here.

As always if you have your own ideas about what you would like to see on the landing page let us know, otherwise stay tuned as we add new info to the page throughout the year.
