No time for the simple things (WikiHelp for Job Server)

JobPWith all that’s going on in your busy day it’s hard to find
time to sit back and enjoy the simple things like dwf creation, property
synchronization, passing item details to PLM 360 or running custom batch jobs
and the like, so we at Autodesk introduced the Job Server.  Using one or several Job Processors you can
now take the workload off the individual users while the Job Server queues the
submitted tasks and Job Processors line up to do the work.

Simple right?  Well,
yes, once you have a good understanding of how it all works, how the components
fit together, what the requirements are and how this will work best in your organization.  Decisions need to be made as to what you use the
job processors for, whether or not you can justify having a standalone job processor
(license usage and hardware vs time lost to users) and what to expect when the
job processor cohabitate's on designers machines.

Job Server Administration takes you through each of the components, the process’ and even details on the
job handlers for those looking to create or load their own job processor tasks.
