So now we have buttered you up with the compliments about how smart you are and what great experience you have, here’s the hard sell – we want you to share all that!

The backbone of the Wiki “community” is user participation, we at Autodesk try to ensure we provide everything a user could need to set up, configure and run our products smoothly, but we are always looking to improve this information to keep it current and meaningful.  Your contributions is how we do that and there are a couple of ways to participate.

By leaving comments against the Wiki articles we can review the way the data is presented and clarify or add detail where necessary.  We also invited you a while back, through the ideas exchange, to post ideas on where you would like more documentation, even better than this though is adding your own.  If you have solved an issue before or have an answer, you can add this yourself and start to enjoy "Wiki karma".  What's Wiki karma?  Its adding information this time and gaining the information you need next time – the more people that add to the Wiki, the more information for everyone.

Now, there are some simple rules to follow through this process, every community has them, nothing too serious and don’t be too concerned about getting anything wrong, we will review your submission to make sure there is consistent use of terminology and technical accuracy.

Have a read of the WikiHelp guidelines here and start down the path to your own Wiki enlightenment.
