Based on customer feedback we have released an updated Autodesk Vault Professional 2016 Add-In for SolidWorks with a huge number of changes designed to address usability and performance.
Straight off the bat you will notice its faster, Vault status calculations are faster and more accurate, we cleaned up a number of repetitive dialog's and we improved add-in help content and made it more discover-able with on line access.
Did I mention its faster? Across the board the new add-in has greatly improved times for open and check out and check in operations, meaning that not only are users more productive but large model management is actually possible in situations where perhaps model size was a barrier to adoption.
Updates too for the Autodesk Vault Professional 2016 MicroStation add-in which has had a complete overhaul of the Job Processor and DWF creation methods to produce better quality view-able's with more user control over the output.
Both of these updated addins are available on the Vault Appstore and Subscription Center (Your Autodesk Account) for Vault subscription customers only.
