Autodesk Vault Roadmap Provides Glimpse of the Future

Christa Prokos
December 13, 2021

Customer feedback is an integral part of the product development process. Our Vault product development team regularly meets with customers and the Vault community throughout the year to capture feedback and plan new features and enhancements.

While most of the Vault feedback activities have been online throughout the pandemic, one thing that is not going away is the increased need for remote and hybrid work environments. Regardless of where you need to work, Vault product data management software gives you a central source of organized data so you can keep collaborating, reducing errors, and saving time.

See what’s beyond Vault 2022 on the Vault roadmap

Each release of Vault contains more productivity-enhancing functionality. Vault 2022 delivered greater automation for faster workflows and the flexibility to work with design data anywhere, anytime in a new browser experience and mobile app.

To see some of the new functionality planned for releases beyond Vault 2022, be sure to visit the Vault roadmap. This public roadmap will show you some of the ways our product development team is continuing to make Vault more modern, connected, and insightful.

To prioritize high value functionality, our Vault product team bases the development of new features and enhancements on user experiences. The goal is to ensure that each user role gains more efficiency with the right set of capabilities and the best technology for those capabilities.

New Vault functionality for user experiences

  • Author experience: For authors and those of you who use CAD design tools, the Vault team is adding more capabilities to help keep you focused on the work you love.
  • Participant experience: For participants who are non-CAD users, the Vault team is providing more ways to help you access and work with engineering data.
  • Administrator experience: For administrators, the Vault team is continuing to modernize your experience to keep you focused on maintaining a smooth overall experience for authors and other users.

Visit the Vault roadmap to see examples and more details about the new features and enhancements that the Vault team is working on.
