By now we are pretty well acquainted with the WikiHelp pages so no doubt you have already found the Use Vault Add-Ins section. This page offers a most helpful and comprehensive list of all the add-ins and their product availability, not all of our CAD and office integrations are available in all the Vault products due in part to functionality requirements so it is worth making a note of what version of Vault supports the tools you need.
This is true of the AEC add-ins like Microstation and Revit. The Revit add-in, in fact, has a number of very specific workflows that separate it from many of the other Vault add-ins which ensures it works seamlessly as part of the central model paradigm employed in the Revit space – not sure what I mean? Well you should read on in the Revit add-in detail page here.
This page gives Revit users an overview of how the Vault components fit together before diving into Using Vault With Revit, taking users through project set up and steps to working with Revit projects day to day: opening, saving, syncing, loading, linking and adding Revit sheets to name a few of the basic topics users need to understand to use this integration.
