We do like to think of all our Vault users as part of a community (if not a slightly dysfunctional family), a fairly smart bunch (obviously) with a lot of good industry / software experience and general information to share, if you doubt me head over to the discussion group forum and you will see an endless stream of Vault users working alongside the Autodesk team to help out other users with all manner technical solutions and advice for problems big and small.
In terms of direct interaction with the Vault community the discussion group is king but as we see recurring themes in discussion group topics and support WikiHelp offers a platform to record these common issue resolutions or tips and tricks.
How many of you have lost all your Vault commands on the ribbon strip? You aren't alone, so we added a checklist in the troubleshooting section which explains how to work through this.
Worried about replication? We have a tip on setting up monitoring in the tips and tricks section. We have 21 videos up here explaining all sorts of tasks and even more community links to blogs and ideas (for those that just can’t get enough internet).
And here’s the good bit – while we welcome feedback and end user input on all the WikiHelp topics, the community section offers a more flexible “informal” area for you the user to add your own knowledge, update how you solved issues and point out what we need to add.
Throughout the year we are looking to add more useful tips and troubleshooting information, so stay tuned for updates and we hope to see you up there!
